About the Dish
Mutton Biryani is a rice-based dish that comes from Mughlai cuisine. The dish has its origins in the Muslim culture but its origin is unclear; some say it was introduced by Mughal Emperor Timur’s invasion, while some argue that it was Babur. One theory claims that soldiers would prepare a one-pot dish with rice and meat. Because of its variations, veg biryani is a popular dish in the country, as well as in other countries like Iran and Iraq.
How to Eat
The dish has a very less amount of thick gravy and is supposed to be enjoyed hot. With the soft texture of rice and chicken, the dish is mildly spicy so that everyone can enjoy it. You can enjoy this biryani at either lunch or dinner depending on when you are having a party.
