About the Dish

Royal Maratha Paneer Biryani is a Maharashtrian delicacy, originating from the Maratha community in Maharashtra. While biryani is one of the favourite dishes of Indians, it has several variations in different cultures. Maratha Paneer Biryani is one of the vegetarian variations on Chicken Biryani, which was Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s favourite. Biryani, also known as Birinj, originates from the Persian cuisine and has been popularised by the Mughals. Our chef uses their family recipe which makes it traditional and unique in flavour.

How to Eat

You can enjoy this delicacy without any accompaniments. Take a bite-sized piece of paneer with some rice and masalas, and experience the burst of flavours. It’s a mildly spicy dish that has perfectly cooked paneer and rice. It’s supposed to be enjoyed hot and can be eaten at lunch or dinner with your loved ones.
