Starting with some healthy fruits…
About the Dish
Upwas Thali is a Maharashtrian delicacy that consists of everything upwas!! Also known as Fariyali Thali, it’s popular on traditional fasting days for Indians. While fasting days include Chaturdashi, Pournima among many others, it’s a one-stop meal to keep the hunger demons at bay. The dish includes several elements like paneer in kaju gravy, peanut potato sabzi, bhagar flour-based puri, sabudana khichdi and wada, potato halwa, yoghurt, and fresh fruits. Although the dish is variable, our chef uses her family recipe, which brings out its authenticity and finger-licking taste.
How to Eat
Enjoy this delicacy starting off with some fresh fruits. After this, there's no particular order to eat it. Start with anything you want while an amazing experience is guaranteed. Overall, the dish is mildly spicy and with different textures you can enjoy your upwas day to the max!! It's supposed to be enjoyed hot and can be eaten at lunch or dinner with your loved ones!!
