About the Dish
Dal Bafla, also known as Bafla Bati, is a famous food in Western India. This dish originates in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh, and is a variation on the Rajasthani Dal Baati. Our chef boils the bafla first and then bakes the bafla using ghee and served it with protein rich dal, aloo jeera, and some green chutney. It’s a delicacy that is present in all kinds of social gatherings. So, for all the health-conscious people, you can enjoy this Malwi delicacy without any regrets!!
How to Eat
The dish is supposed to be enjoyed hot and can be enjoyed at lunch or at dinner. The dish is mildly spicy, which is served with dal and jeera aloo. The bafla is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. To enjoy the dish, the bafla should be broken and dipped in the dal, combine the two with some aloo and some zingy chutney in a bite-sized piece for a flavourful experience!!
