Description

Upwas Tikki, also known as samak tikki, is a fasting delicacy for people during days like Navratri and consists of bhagar, potatoes, and singhara (water chestnut). These ingredients combine to make it a healthy dish and fasting days. Upwas tikki is very nutritious because of its ingredients and even though fried, it contains less oil. Water chestnuts help in controlling blood pressure, helps fight sleeplessness, and has low calories. Bhagar is rich in fibre and is gluten free, which makes this easy to add in your diet.
