Gud Thekua is a Bihari delicacy and is a popular sweet snack in Bihari community. Also known as Thokwa or Thekuwa, it’s a famous delicacy also in Uttar Pradesh and Terai region of Nepal. Gud Thekua is an offering to God during Chhath Puja and is one of the oldest sweets. Our chef makes this dish using her traditional recipe and contains jaggery, which makes it authentic, yummy, and sugar-free. Also, since its fried in ghee and contains no preservatives, it makes this sweet easy to add to any diet.
