Description
Chusi Puli Payesh is an authentic Bengali delicacy that’s a lost and forgotten delicacy in the pages of history. Also known as Roshopulli Pitha, it’s an ethnic Bengali sweet treat and is famous during festivities. Moreover, Chusi Puli Payesh comes from the same category as kheer, but the chusi and puli pieces consist of jaggery, coconut, and dry fruits. The demand for payesh is the highest during Sankranti (New Year) in West Bengal. Although it’s sweet, the good thing is that it’s sugar-free since it uses loads of jaggery!!
