Description

Litti Chokha is a Bihari delicacy, that is popular in the Eastern and Central states of India. According to folklore, the then Magadh kingdom was the first to cook this dish and was their staple food. Litti Chokha rose to fame during Tantia Tope and Rani Lakshmi Bai, as it was an integral part of their wartime meals. The litti is a wheat-flour-based dish which is stuffed with sattu. The chokha consists of grilled brinjal and mashed potatoes with a touch of our chef’s family recipe. The mustard chutney adds an extra dimension to the taste of the dish, giving it a unique flavour.
