About the Dish

Sev Barfi is a traditional Sindhi delicacy, that consists of mawa/khoya and strings (sev) of gram flour. Also known as Sindhi Sev ki Mithai, it’s a popular dish that has several variations in other households. Sev Barfi usually gains popularity during festive seasons. Nariyal, Besan, Kaju barfi, and many others are different types of barfis other that this. Our uses her family recipe which makes it authentic and tasty.

How to Eat

This dish needs no accompaniments as it has a great taste on its own. It can be eaten at room temperature and can be stored in an airtight container for a few days. It has a soft texture and is garnished with some chopped nuts to give some extra crunch. It's a sweet delicacy that can be enjoyed as a dessert or as a midnight snack all to yourself!!
