Description
Chakli, also known as Chakali, is a spiral-shaped snack. It’s a popular snack throughout India and has become a part of an everyday snack for people. Chakli gains the most demand during Diwali as it’s part of ‘Diwali Faral’, which is paired with Chiwda. It is made using rice, Bengal gram, and black gram flours, and is deep-fried but, amazingly, absorbs less oil. Chakli is known by many different names like Chakkuli in Kannada, Odisha’s Dantkali, and others are some of the names for this delicacy in other states.
