Stuffed Dal Cutlets are a Sindhi delicacy that consists of chana dal and potatoes. Also known as chana dal tikki, it’s a popular delicacy in North India and has several variations. The word cutlet derives from the French word ‘cotelette’ which refers to a patty coated with bread crumbs. In Indian cuisine, cutlet consists of mashed veggies, however, our chef uses a few ingredients and make it yummy. The covering of the patty consists of boiled potatoes and stuffing of chana dal and some spices. Its family recipe makes this dish authentic and lip-smacking!!
