Gujia, an Uttar Pradeshi sweet snack, is a deep-fried dumpling that consists of a stuffing of khoya and dry fruits. Also known as Karanji in Marathi, it’s a popular delicacy and has several variations. Gujia is a festive delicacy that gains a lot of demand during Holi, especially in Uttar Pradesh region. It’s an old delicacy that dates back to the 13th century, where they found a mixture of jaggery and honey coated with wheat flour. This dish is our chef’s most loved dish and makes it with a lot of love and her family recipe. This gives the dish an authentic and unique taste.
