Description

Bhakosa is an Uttar Pradeshi delicacy that consists of the goodness of various dal and taste of masalas. Also known as Dal Pitha or Chana Dal Fara, it’s a traditional North Indian snack. Bhakosa is a crescent-shaped savoury snack that consists of flour covering and a filling of various ground pulses mixed with spices. Our chef uses her family’s style of cooking this dish as its first steamed and then fried. The snack, although available year-round, is popular during Karva Chauth and is a must-have in this festival.
