Aliv Laddu, also known as Halim seeds or Garden Cress seeds, is a Maharashtrian delicacy. Did you know that 100gm of Aliv seeds equals 100mg of Iron? Well, aliv laddu is made in winters as it keeps our body warm and is rich in iron, Vitamin A, C, and E, calcium, fibre, and proteins. It also promotes weight loss and reduces fatigue. Aliv laddus are advised to lactating mothers as it helps increase milk production and keeps them energised throughout the day.

How to Eat

Aliv laddus have a shelf life of upto 7 days, if kept refrigerated. It can be enjoyed at room temperature and it's a sweet that can be enjoyed any time of the day. It is a soft laddu that should be eaten without any accompaniments.
