Description

Upwas Thali is a delicacy that consists of all things upwas!! Also known as Fariyali Thali, it’s popular on traditional fasting days for Indians. While fasting days include Ashadi Ekadashi, Purnima, among many others, it’s a one-stop meal to keep the hunger demons at bay. Moreover, the dish includes several elements like potato sabzi, upwas thalipeeth, sabudana khichdi, potato halwa,Upwas Dhokla, Chutney and Khajoor . Although the dish is variable, our chef uses her family recipe, which brings out its authenticity and finger-licking taste.

Enjoy this fulfilling platter starting with some fresh fruits. Then enjoy some Sabudana khichdi with some yogurt and Upwas Tikki with some coconut chutney. Break a bite-sized piece from the Upwas Thalipeeth and scoop some of the potato sabzi to enjoy a unique taste. Finish off the meal with some sweet Potato halwa as the dessert. The dish overall is hardly spicy and is supposed to be enjoyed hot at either dinner or lunch.
