The yellow color to this dish comes from the generous amount of turmeric but is also accompanied with other spices. People usually prepare doi maach during festive occasions or any large family gatherings. You can include fish in your diet as it is a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin D, and is delicious and easy to prepare!!
How to Eat
It is supposed to be enjoyed hot while the fish is soft, and it has a thick and robust curry. The dish is mildly spicy but has a slightly tangy taste and can be eaten with flatbread or rice. You can eat this either at lunch or at dinner.
