Upwas Dhokla is also known as Farali Dhokla or Varai Dhokla and is made with sabudana and Bhagar flour. Usually, this dish is made during fasting days. Upwas Dhokla could be used as a substitute for Idli or who are looking to try something new. Since the dhokla is steamed, it contains next to no amount of oil. It is also easy to add to your diet and has some benefits, some are- it’s gluten free, high in fibre, and contains less calories.
