Description

Dal Kanda is a Saoji cuisine from Maharashtra, which has some origin in the Malwa region. As the name suggests, the dish contains a generous amount of onions and bengal gram dal. Dal Kanda has its variations, but our chef uses her traditional family recipe which gives it a unique taste. With a generous amount of onions, the dish is healthy as onions have less calories and are rich in antioxidants; whereas chana dal is a good source of plant-based protein and helps in lowering blood pressure.
